Handmade Ceramic Stoneware Rustic Spoon, with "Honey" & Dandelion Detail

I roll out a coil of clay for the handle and cut out the scoop part shape of the Spoon. I then stamp the word "Honey" into the handle and the Dandelion into the scoop. Then once they are Leather hard I attach the scoop to the handle and smooth over.
When the Spoon has dried it goes into the kiln to be biscuit fired, when the kiln has cooled, I can add the glaze. There is an Almond Milk stoneware glaze on the front, then it goes into the kiln for a second time.
Great for using with your conserves and Honey and has a hole in the handle so it can hang.
The spoon is a lovely size to hold and would make a lovely Housewarming gift for anyone who enjoys their Honey or great as an everyday Spoon.
The spoon is Stoneware fired to 1250 degrees, making it safe to use in a dishwasher.
Due to the fact that this piece is Handmade, you may find slight imperfections in the form, glaze and texture from the handmade process. This is what makes each piece unique.
